  Our Father in Heaven,
  Hallowed be Your name.
  Your Kingdom come.
  Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily
  bread.
  And forgive us our debts,
  As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into
  temptation, but deliver us
  from the evil one.
  For yours is the kingdom
  and the power and the
  glory forever. Amen.

  The Lord's Prayer
Greetings Fellow Moms,

I know being a Single Mom is not always easy. I have experienced the joys and pains of single parenting with one child. However, God has shown me that it doesn't matter whether you have one, two, five, or seven children, it is abiding by His word and implementing His principles that will lead to successful parenting and winning over all adversities. Also during this time of single parenting, moms allow God to be your husband and a father to your
child(ren). God is our Father and He loves us very much.

Winning over adversities starts with prayer. For more, see Prayer Requests.

Heart to Heart Moment
For the most part, single parenting is very challenging and more often than not overwhelming. But at the end of the day, it is rewarding because you and child(ren) made it through by God's grace. You smiled, cried, or took a sigh of relief and thanked God (even when you didn't know Him). Although, things sometimes don't turn out the way we desire, the most important thing mom is that you and your child(ren) are still together.

Making it through each day starts with acknowledging Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. In the midst of a troubled world, pressing issues and chaos, God's desire is for us to always keep our focus on Him. Yes, it is easier said than done. I've failed to exercise this sometimes myself but thanks be unto God if you are submitted to His Lordship, He will always bring you back into His bosom of loving care.

Please read the information pertaining to Tools For Winning and Character Building (see below) and begin to apply it to your lives. See the Resources page for additional helpful information.

Remember Consistency is the Key and Anything pursuant to Life requires Effort.

My prayer is that you and child(ren) accept the 1) free gift of salvation and increase daily in the wisdom, knowledge, favor and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Next, become a 2) witness for Jesus then a 3) disciple of Jesus. For more, see Foundation and Fountain of Life.

Love Your Sister in Christ,

Angela M. Stephenson

As stated by John Maxwell in The Maxwell Leadership Bible, Adversity is a cross-road that makes a person choose one of two paths: Character or Compromise.

God desires us to choose the path of character by living according to the word not the path of compromise living according to the world.
Character brings us closer to God, conforming to His image. Compromise takes us away from God, detracting from His image.

Moms, our children are watching us.

The most effective way you can raise your child(ren) is by demonstrating Godly character. Remember the old cliche  'Actions speak louder than words'. Of course, we all know this to be true. None of us are perfect so we must apply effort daily to exemplify Godly character.

Here is a great tool to help all of us. Please click the link below.
